Welcome back MNB (FinalFight.mp3)

For those who are looking at my blog through a google search of name, related info, blah blah blah, get a life zzz

I am not interested in your views towards me or the change of impression you may have of me. I am I.

The only reason i find myself back here is the music that you hear that is embedded. For the rest who stumbbed into here because you have search for finalfight.mp3, i can only say sorry, you cant download it here (like i have fruitless searched), the only way i can heard it looped is when dear help me embed it into my old and forgotten blog, lol. Well, at least you can hear it loop here and not need to replay it again and again like i previously did.

Since i am here, i will be updating once in a while.

Stay tune for more loony posts and some unnecessary words of wisdom, lol.

And the world shook a little, it was unnoticed by most when they are involved in their boring and mudane tasks, MNB is back for a final fight...

Meet the Parents

Wow, almost weeks did not blogged. Almost thinking of giveing it up :P So busy with stuff around that didnt even have time to game (sure kana scolding, hehe).

Prelims came and Prelims went, marking and correcting and advising and tons of consultations. It been hell weeks these. All this makes blogging impossible (plus laziness).

So long didnt update myself that peopel wont know whats happening to me.

The significant event that happen recently is meeting the parents. Oh my, to those who had seen the movie," meet the parent" should know what i am trying to say... Ha ha, not that bad la, dear's folks are pleasant people and i quite enjoyed the encounter. The dinner seemed long though as in every event when you will feel nervous, its a good thing that this situation (the first encounter), i would only have to face once :P

Ok la, will stop here cos still have many things to do, meanwhile, will update as often as last time, else people will say i am only 3 minutes fire passion only, hehe...

PS: dear, it be soon your turn, he he he :P

Right Person

Something to add...

When someone still buy you a drink and care about your safety after a disagreement, you found the right person...

"No quotes"

Mid Autumn Festival

To all those who think this blog is almost gone case, it should have been, due to the prelim markings and committee work so on and so forth, its a wonder that i would have time to blog (or half the time is lazy to blog :P)

Its almost 2 am now, what am i doing here...?

I am in deep trouble, so at least i think i am... Its suppose to be the mid autumn festival now, should be enjoying moon cakes, watching the moon, drink some tea, and spent the rest of the day with your loved ones. The day went on very smoothly and through the evening except for the last part that goes terribly wrong...

The Chinese garden is bursting with energy with the latern safari. It can be said to be the best event that i have ever went in all my times to htere (actually only twice at most i think). Lots of photographs were taken, many things were bought, including a pretty "princess" head gear for dear. The moon is almost very round and it is very yellow and beautiful.

Two things went wrong, one is the taking of photographs, i seem to be taking blur photos and didnt want dear to take. Not because i look down on her but rather the pride of not being wanted to be seemed as incompetence. Misunderstanding happend (jia lat...) when she thought i deleted her shot on purpose (i really didnt :S). Maybe more explanation is required...

Secondly, the wrong direction caused us to walk round and round towards the end. I remembered the course was round and so if you complete the round, you should see the exit, but instead walked three full rounds (stupid @_@). And i am now not afraid to admit its my fault (nor afraid of losing face and it is not the most impt, dear is... cos now that the whole world knows :S), but then the damage was done...

Haiz, so to all those out there who are as prideful as i am, do listen to advice. Dont be too defensive else you suffer like me (I still dont know the consequences yet, later today will know... to be updated)

To my fans (if any), stay tuned... Now its time for zzzz.....

PS: The content has been deliberately summarised so that the details are not fully published (private la).

Happy Teachers Day

Hehe, a tribute to all fellow teachers out there. Be it a classroom teacher, tutor, parents or siblings, you are all teachers in a way or another and you are all great (as if talking bout myself right? :P)

A while ago (yesterday), i was lamenting about the appreciation of my students. Many didnt do much [or anything :( ], even those students whom i have put in more effort for remedial lessons, nor the students who frequently asked for consultations, nor the students i asked them to stay back to advise them on their behaviour at the expense of my lunch sometimes and not forgetting the chess club students whom i met frequently to guide them so that they assume their offices much easier.

Just some students did. Some students whom are respectful from the start. They will greet when they see you. Say thank you when you guide them. Wave at you when you are at a distance. These are enough. These students i will remember for very long, way after they graduate. These are the students which i will remember to remind myself not to give up heart for the young minds.

Even in this profession, there exist politics, where leaders can sometimes cared only for themselves, or create a bad staff environment due to some insignificant squabbles. Some teachers always complain and complain, all it is them who gets the high salary (idiots). It all makes the work from bad to worse. Ultimately, it is those students that make your day :)

Those said, it reminds me that i was once a student... My attitude wasn't that good as well i supposed... I didnt appreciate the teachers that were good to me at that time too. I remember that was a Chinese teacher during my JC times, seeing me eating alone in the canteen, came over to eat with me, treated me fruits and talked to me. Then after, she will talk to me often whenever possible. I didnt visit her the few years after i graduated (but i did give her a card for 2 years :P), and when i went back a few years ago, she was no longer teaching there, so was my J2 civics tutor or any of the teachers that left an impression on me...

Thats reminds me of my secondary times too (primary cannot quite remember except for an obnoxius indian teacher @_@ ) , there are many teachers that leave impression esp the teacher who insisted i drop bio (:S) or the pretty yet fierce art teacher or the physics teacher who like to give a pat (loud) when you cannot answer his question. Even the science teacher who practice favourtism left a space in my brain. Or the teacher who lent (yes, lent) me $10 because i lost my wallet during a maths camp. Those are all memories now...

Wow, what a nostalgic day for me... All the memories comes flowing...

To end off, to all the teachers out there, you really do leave an impression to your students. Be nice ok :)

Life like a boat

Wow havent blogged in a while le, now kana reminders from so many (as if :P) ardent fans for me to continue writing. I thought why not? After every busy moments, there going to some (even very little) time left for relax. It is now, hehe...

Life like a boat, a song i recently grown to like. Taken from the anime bleach, it has a nice tune and if you look at the lyrics, it is quite meaningful. It makes me think (almost everything makes me think :P). Why do people like to be in a big group? Yesterday, i saw a big group celebrating someone's birthday, yes it was livley and looks fun. Then again, i have been the left out person in big groups for very long, so long that i hate it. I would remember the times that i went off quitely and nobody even notice, cos they dont really give a damn. It was the JC times, man, sometimes i can really hate my classmates for that. It made me the character i am today, sometimes cynical and skeptical. I dont trust people so much till they prove it. I wont care for any unless i am showered with some.

Someone close tell me that man shouldnt be so petty. No i am not petty, i dont bear any grudge against my classmates then nor now. But its a shame that no one can understand how i feel. The world really need more kind people, so for now, i still only be kind to similar kind people. And no big groups for me, BIG NO.

Let me figure out how to upload file, i upload the mp3 here :)

Life like a boat by Rie Fu:

Nobody knows who I really am
I never felt this empty before
And if I ever need someone to come along,
Who gonna comfort me, and keep me strong?

We are all rowing the boat of fate
The waves keep on coming and we can escape
But if we ever get lost on our way
The waves would guide you through another day

dooku de iki o shiteru toomei ni natta mitai
kudayami ni omoe dakedo mekaku shisarete tadake
inori o sasagete atarashii hi o matsu
asayaka ni hikaru umi sono hate made

Nobody knows who I really am
Maybe they just dont give a damn
But if I ever need someone to come along
I know you would follow me, and keep me strong

hito no kokoro wa utsuriyuku mukedashiteku naru
tsuki wa mada atarashii shuuki de mune o tsureteku

And every time I see your face
The ocean heaves up to my heart
You make me wanna strain at the oars, and soon
I can see the shore
Oh, I can see the shore
When will I see the shore?

I want you to know who I really am
I never thought I feel this way towards you
And if you ever need someone to come along,
I will follow you, and keep you strong

tabi wa mada tsuzuiteku odayakana hi mo
tsuki wa mata atarashii shuuki de ume o terashidasu
inori o sasagete atarashii hi o matsu
asayaka ni hikaru umi sono hate made

And every time I see your face
The ocean heaves up to my heart
You make me wanna strain at the oars, and soon
I can see the shore

Unmei no huneoko gi nami wa tsugi kara tsuki e to watashi-tachi o sou kedo
Sore mo suteki na tabi ne, dore mo suteki na tabi ne

Perception

Wa, this week has been a killer week. Busy busy and one word to summarise === busy.

Just going to post a short msg here...

Dear has been stress today, i feel helpless here. And maybe i added to her stress too.

I feel many of the feelings can be perceived, some may not be true. Must trust yourself...

To end off, just hoped that tomorrow will be better for dear (and less busy). Jia you, "yong yuan zhi chi ni" :)

"Jia you, you will always have someone to support you" :P

Freedom

Have watched two shows today (sure to be scolded by dear, for wasting time :P) Though i think its quite interesting cos i was thinking after the two shows. One was an older film "Brave heart" by Mel Gibson and the other "The Fall of Berlin", a story describing the few days that happened just before Germany surrendered (hovering most around the final hours of Hitler)

The first show most people would remember is that Gibson plays a hero who fights to restore independence of Scotland at the cost of his own life. I never fail to feel emotional at the last scene where the King of Scotland rallied his people against England (Gibson wasn't king, he died remember?) The story has two learning point, one was said in the very beginning, "History is written by the winner", meaning that mostly we may never learn the truth facts (the rest you go think about it). The second... later i will tell you...

The second is about "The fall of Berlin". The story revolves around the lifes of Hitler and his confidants the last few days before the surrender. While everyone will expect that his followers obey him due to fear, its wrong, they follow him out of them own will. Some even offered to commit suicide with him against his (Hitler's) order. Hitler's influence over his followers is beyond the comprehension of our normal mind. His beliefs in a certain idea is so charismatic that many are willing to follow that idea even to their deaths (many of Hitler's officers commited suicide to that ideology). It is indeed scary in a sense. Sometimes when you lose that freedom of your mind (tied to some beliefs), one can do things that are incomprehensive...

Two shows related to freedom and beliefs in some sense.

I will value freedom alot, though i am also afraid of too much freedom. Without something to govern freedom, it will be chaotic. I dont really like too much slack (a little discipline helps ;P)

Beliefs are scary if one puts in too much stake into it. Yet no one can do without any. Bottom line, dont do things in extreme, follow your beliefs, but dont do so blindly...

Today's Quote, i use a rather meaningful quote from a close one (:P :P :P)
"Courage is when one dares to believe" (from dear :P)
