Just as i was telling S about running out of ideas for my blog that i suddenly thought of one. When encountered with difficulties, its always good to pause for a while to reflect. The main idea for blogging for me is to pen my thoughts. It is not meant for the whole world to know, only those closer to me will get to see this. Those others who see this most probably wont know me and thus it doesn't matter. The events that were mentioned will not suggest who i am nor the people i mentioned... In short it means, this blog is exclusive for members (like some posh club right :P) only.
Just yesterday, had breakfast with two of my colleagues. They mentioned about the school blogging competition and that blogging is a total waste of time... Without even first asking around does anyone blogged... And as usual, i was in my listening mode (talking less really helps). Some points mentioned are valid though, such as sensitive things and bad things are usually not posted in case the wrong people sees it and personal things are avoided just in case things were used against you in unforseen circumstances.
Of course many things can be seen as a double edged sword. For me, the purpose of this blog is clear. Its a good form of expressing thoughts as well as keeping a record of the mundane stuff going on day to day (the rest are kept in memory :P). Perhaps in time to time it will not qualify as a diary but it doesn't matter. My blog is used for my purpose and not for other to judge what its used for.
PS: Of course as the title suggest, its a blog dedicated to me and dear and it may contain mushy stuff occasionally :P :P :P

hmm... no idea then don't blog lor. i agree with you, blogging is merely to "pen" down the thoughts & share with some friends (e.g. ardent fan of your blog like me. haha...). for me, blogging is for sharing general thoughts about things in my life. more personal stuff will for the ears of my friends & not the whole world to know of. don't be bothered by your colleagues' comments. if you're happy, keep blogging! cheers! btw, i see you've enjoyed yourself at the fireworks display. ;)
Ha ha, thanks for ya support, though i may be a disappointment. Come to think my blog has not been too constuctive but just some random thoughts.
